The heating supply has been stabilized in the town of Avdiyivka, Donetsk region, which is situated on the contact line between the conflicting parties in Donbas, Ukrainian presidential spokesperson Sviatoslav Tseholko said.
"The heating supply in Avdiyivka from the emergency regime provided by the back-up generators was shifted to the steady regime," he posted on his Facebook page on Sunday evening.
"The illumination in the streets is restored in the town," Tseholko said.
Works to resume the round-the-clock water supply continue, he said.
Avdiyivka and its suburbs have been under gunfire since January 29. The heating and electricity supplies were disrupted. Due to this, the emergency was declared in the town.
The repair brigades managed to restore the electricity supply in Avdiyivka on Sunday.
