In Avdiyivka direction, Ukrainian forces withdraw from villages of Pivnichne, Stepove – Tavria group of troops

In Avdiyivka direction, Ukrainian forces carried out a withdrawal from the small villages of Pivnichne and Stepove, said Dmytro Likhovy, spokesperson of the Tavria operational and strategic group of troops.

“In Avdiyivka direction, our units carried out a withdrawal from the small villages of Pivnichne and Stepove. As of before the war, there were up to 100 residents in these two villages altogether. Fierce fighting for Pivnichne also continued from yesterday evening and into the night. The enemy has suffered great losses here,” the spokesperson said on the telethon.

He pointed out that as of the morning of February 27, the defense line in the areas of the villages of Tonenke, Orlivka and Berdychi had been stabilized. In particular, the enemy's assault groups were blocked in the northeastern vicinity of the settlement of Orlivka. The group noted that the fighting continues here in conditions of dense enemy artillery fire, mortar fire, and the use of FPV drones.
