Situation in Avdiyivka: Ukrainian defense units redeploy, ‘are ready for any development’ – Tavriya group spokesman

Fighting in the Avdiyivka direction after the withdrawal of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has decreased and units have redeployed to new positions and are “ready for any development of events,” said Dmytro Lykhovoy, spokesman for the Tavriya operational-strategic group of troops.

“The intensity of hostilities after midnight and until 6 am decreased... The enemy in the last few days, and the last hours of the past day, has reached the climax of the onslaught, which is based on the political ambitions of one Kremlin Fuhrer to attack Avdiyivka,” he said during the national Telemarathon on Saturday .

“Units are being deployed and consolidated on the second defensive line in order to carry out defense in another place. The enemy is also taking a breather compared to the previous few days and will likely have its own combat plan. We are ready for any development of events,” he said.
