Militants fire at Ukrainian electricians repairing power lined in Avdiyivka
Militants fired at Ukrainian electricians who were working to restore the power lines for Avdiyivka (Donetsk region), Ukrainian president's press secretary Svyatoslav Tsegolko said referring to the information of Deputy Prime Minister Hennadiy Zubko.
"In spite of the ceasefire regime, Russian militants fired at Ukrainian electricians who carried out repair work to restore electricity supply to Avdiyivka. Deputy Prime Minister Hennadiy Zubko reported this to the president. Thus the restoration works have failed due to the shelling," Tsegolko wrote on Facebook page on Saturday.
He said the incident was reported to the OSCE and international partners. "Ukraine wants Russia to immediately stop the fire," the report says.
