Kremlin plans to destabilize situation in Ukrainian cities shifted from May 2 to May 9
Verkhovna Rada Chairman Andriy Parubiy has said Russian leadership still plans to destabilize the situation in the Ukrainian cities on May holidays, however, he promised these plans won't come into life and all commemoration events will be held peacefully.
"I'm sure that similar to May 2 events [in Odesa], all events scheduled on the territory of Ukraine on May 9 and May 8 will be held peacefully and with dignity, and no chance for Kremlin-built plans to be put into life," parliamentary speaker said on TV Channel 5 on Friday.
According to his sources, chief of Russian President Vladimir Putin's staff Sergei Ivanov instructed security officers to use huge funds to organize destabilization in many cities of Ukraine, including Odesa.
Since Russia plans have been frustrated, it put off destabilizing events to May 9, said Parubiy adding that authorities won't make such Kremlin scenarios to happen in Ukraine.
