Poroshenko opposes changing Constitution to for political ends
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has said he is against the introduction of the amendments to the Fundamental Law of Ukraine to suit a definite political situation in Ukraine.
"For these months I heard many claims on the Constitution of Ukraine. My stance over it [Constitution] is that necessary to learn how to live, not to always be reaching out for a the pen to rewrite the text of the Constitution in order to suit the current moment," he said delivering a speech to the parliament on Thursday.
According to Poroshenko, constitutional field is an element of the definite public agreement and any steps of the politicians must take into account moods of society.
