Baku accuses Armenian armed forces of attacking Azeri positions along entire frontline in Nagorno-Karabakh conflict area early on Saturday
The Armenian armed forces opened massive fire at Azeri army positions along the entire frontline early on April 2, using artillery, mortars, and other large-caliber weapons, the Azeri Defense Ministry said in a statement.
A number of Azeri residential neighborhoods located not far from the line of contact were also shelled, the ministry said.
To deter the enemy's activities and curb the attack, the Azeri armed forces command analyzed the operational situation and decided to take countermeasures, it said.
