All people detained in connection with takeover of Yerevan police department released
The citizens of Armenia who were taken to a police station on Sunday to check their possible connections with the persons who took over a police department in Yerevan were released at the due time, Armenian police press officer Ashot Agaronyan told Interfax.
"Everyone has been released," Agaronyan said.
The reports on the use of violence by police officers against citizens "will be studied in detail" on the orders of the head of Armenia's police on the basis of media reports, he said.
