Ukraine not to ask Kremlin's permission when choosing its development vector - Poroshenko
Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko has assured that the authorities will not take into account the interests and wishes of the Russian leadership when choosing a vector of the country's development.
"We will agree our European integration choice exclusively with the Ukrainian people. It is not Kremlin's business, no one is going to ask them for permission, nor consult with them as to how we should develop our state," he said in an interview with the Inter TV channel aired on Sunday evening.
Poroshenko stressed that the Ukrainian people will decide for themselves which development vector they should choose.
