Five people injured in Sumy region due to enemy attacks – authorities
As of 20:00 on December 24, five people were injured as a result of enemy attacks in Sumy region, said the head of the regional military administration, Oleh Hryhorov.
"Even on Christmas Eve in Sumy region, the enemy continues to shell and attack peaceful residents. As of this hour, unfortunately, we have five victims. Two are receiving outpatient treatment, and the rest are hospitalized. All victims are receiving the necessary medical care," he wrote on Telegram.
According to the administration, the Russians attacked civilian cars in Shostka, Sumy, and Konotop districts and launched a missile strike in Okhtyrka district. The consequences of the attacks are being addressed.
"Among the victims is a young girl. She was in a car in the Pischansky district when an enemy drone hit the vehicle," Hryhorov added.
This case was previously reported by the prosecutor's office.
