Russia tries to get its energy companies out from sanctions – Zelenskyy with head of Foreign Intelligence Service
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported on the attempts of the aggressor state to remove energy companies from the effects of international sanctions and work to counteract this.
"First – Russia’s attempts to move its energy companies out from under global sanctions," he said following the report by head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine Oleh Ivaschenko on Telegram on Wednesday.
"They are using other temporary owners and numerous fictitious legal schemes. We are tracking all of this and will communicate with our partners to ensure that pressure continues to work and that Russia is prevented from making money for its war through such manipulations," Zelenskyy added.
