Poroshenko expects strategy on Ukraine's rapprochement with NATO to decided at Warsaw summit
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has said he expects that a strategy on Ukraine's rapprochement with the alliance for the next few years will be decided at the NATO summit in Warsaw in July 2016.
"I am sure that at the next NATO Summit, which is to be held in Warsaw in July 2016, we will discuss the results of these changes with the leaders of NATO member-states during the session of Ukraine-NATO Commission at the highest level. And we will determine the strategy of our rapprochement for the coming years," Poroshenko said during a National Security and Defense Council meeting on Tuesday with the participation of NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
