Poroshenko expects parliament to support lifting of MP, judicial immunity during current session
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko expects the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to amend the Constriction of Ukraine to revoke the immunity of MPs and judges during the current session.
"I'm sure we must accelerate the adoption of the decision and I think that these amendments should be endorsed at first reading during this [parliamentary] session," he said in a speech to the new detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau in Kyiv on Tuesday.
