Explosion outside Kyiv branch of Russia's Sberbanks in early morning, no injuries – police
In the early hours of Thursday morning, an explosion occurred outside a branch of PJSC Subsidiary Bank Sberbank of Russia (Kyiv, Sberbank Group) located on Peremohy Avenue, however no one was injured in the blast.
"Today at 03:00 a blast was heard outside one of the bank branches on Peremohy Avenue. The security guards reported that signaling worked," the press service of Main Department of Interior Ministry in Kyiv city reported.
Law enforces and security firm employees immediately came to the blast site and seized evidence.
The explosion damaged the bank's outdoor door and a window, as well as the windows of neighboring flats.
Sviatoshynsky district police office is carrying out investigative actions as part of a criminal case under Article 258, Part 1 (terrorist act) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
A Sberbank official told Interfax-Ukraine, "there are no victims or injured [persons], the destruction's insignificant, the branch will get down to work on Thursday",
