EU Satellite Center provides satellite images to Ukraine online
Kyiv and the European Defense Agency are starting cooperation talks, Ukrainian Representative to the European Union Kostiantyn Yeliseyev has said.
"We will begin negotiations with the European Union next month concerning an agreement between Ukraine and the European Defense Agency. This will foster cooperation in the development of our defense capacities with the assistance from European partners," he told reporters on the margins of the Eighth Kyiv Security Forum on Friday.
Yeliseyev noted that he was speaking about defense technologies rather than end products.
He also said that contacts between Kyiv and the European Union had been stepped up lately.
"We have established contact with the European Union Satellite Center in Spain and are receiving online satellite images of the places of interest," Yeliseyev said.
