SBU opens case on flights of Grozny Avia planes to Crimea - MP
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has launched criminal proceedings on the flights performed by planes belonged to Grozny Avia airline (Russia) to Crimea, MP Heorhiy Lohvynsky (People's Front faction) has said.
"Under my application SBU launched criminal proceedings on the illegal charter flights on the Simferopol-Istanbul route. The planes of Russian airline Grozny Avia will be arrested," he wrote on his Facebook page on Thursday.
The lawmaker also said that Aya Sofia travel agency, which organized these charter flights and advertized online, will face serious sanctions, and passengers who used on the route will be punished.
MP said that all the passengers might not receive Schengen visas in the future.
"Europe does not welcome trespassers of the state border. Believe me: in public or not in public each who used these flights will soon feel all "hardships" of receiving visas in the Schengen countries," he wrote.
