International Conference in Kyiv will be preparation for investment forum – Yeliseyev
Ukraine's Ambassador to the EU Kostiantyn Yeliseyev has reminded that the international conference to support Ukraine that will take place in Kyiv right after EU-Ukraine Summit on April 28 was initially planned as a big donor conference.
"Its concept was changed," Yeliseyev told reporters in Brussels on Thursday.
According to him, new aid programs for Ukraine will be announced at the event. Kyiv considers the conference as a training in attracting investors.
"We consider this conference a training event, we are once again talking about a big investment conference in Ukraine," the Ambassador said.
According to him, at the conference, the parties will sum up the results of 2014, discuss organizational issues of international advisors' work in Ukraine and reform issues in the country
"We must show our European partners that we're not only pushing papers but also really carrying out reforms," he said.
