Normandy four foreign ministers Berlin meeting achieved some agreements – Klimkin
The Normandy Format foreign ministers meeting in Berlin was difficult and the parties failed to agree on every issue, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin has said.
"I believed this meeting would be a hard one, as I normally do. We managed to agree on a number of the issues, and the rest of the issues will be discussed later," he told Interfax.
When asked about the date of the next meeting between the Normandy Quartet foreign ministers, Klimkin said: "We didn't schedule a precise date, we will agree on that via the diplomatic channels as is usual."
"I believe such meetings are useful when there is a reason to talk at the ministerial level," Klimkin added when asked whether such a meeting needed to be held in the future.
