Venice Commission to discuss laws on lustration, court reform with Ukraine representatives
The Venice Commission of the Council of Europe is to hold a plenary session on March 20 and March 21.
The press service of the Council of Europe reported that the Venice Commission will hold an exchange of views with Ukrainian representatives on constitutional and judicial reform, the lustration law and amendments to the Constitution on the immunity of judges and members of parliament.
It will adopt a joint opinion with the Directorate of Human Rights on the Law on the Judiciary and the Status of Judges and amendments to the Law on the High Council of Justice of Ukraine, reads the report.
