Ukraine contact group may meet in Berlin by end of week – Russian envoy to OSCE
A contact group for Ukraine could meet in Berlin by the end of the week, and its members plan to complete the establishment of a line separating the conflicting parties in Donbas, Russia's permanent envoy to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Andrei Kelin told Interfax on Wednesday.
Some sections of the separating line have still not been agreed upon between the parties, Kelin said.
"These are minor sections, and they need to be completed. This is exactly what the upcoming contact group meeting's work will be focused on. It will be convened closer to the end of the week, and it is going to be held in Berlin," Kelin said.
OSCE representative Heidi Tagliavini is making as many efforts as she can to organize and hold a contact group meeting, he said.
"Heidi Tagliavini is applying maximum efforts to hold this meeting and eventually finalize the process of drawing this [separating] line," he said.
