Klitschko says Kyiv has a lot to learn from London
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, during a meeting with London Mayor Boris Johnson, has said that much can be learned from a city as large and successful as London, and that he is interested in what could be applied towards developing the Ukrainian capital, the Kyiv City State Administration press service has reported.
"City management, the introduction of new technologies, finding systematic solutions to transport problems and attracting investors, we are calling for help and cooperation concerning these issues", Klitschko said.
Johnson proposed in turn that administrators from Kyiv study London’s experience of management, infrastructure and city governance.
"The Mayor of London promised partnership and cooperation with Kyiv, and Johnson also accepted Klitschko’s invitation to visit the Ukrainian capital," the report said.
