Voter turnout 40.42% at 127 out of 198 constituencies as of 1600, says CEC
The voter turnout was 40.42% at noon, according to information from 127 out of a total of 198 constituencies where the snap parliamentary election is held, reads a posting on the Central Election Commission (CEC).
The highest turnout was registered in Lviv region – 49.57%, Ivano-Frankivsk region (48.69%), Khmelnytsky region (47.48%) and Volyn region (47.47%).
The lowest turnout was seen in Luhansk region (23.16%), Donetsk region (27.69%) and Odesa region (28.84%).
The election is being held in 198 constituencies.
The turnout does not influence the election outcome.
