Ukraine to hold public tender to attract European, US investors to exploitation of GTS, says prime minister
Ukraine will announce a public tender to attract European and U.S. investors to the management of its gas transport system (GTS), Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has said, opening a cabinet meeting on Thursday.
"Now we receive the preliminary proposals from our European partners. When we will generalize them, Ukraine will announce a public tender to attract European and U.S. investors to the exploitation of the Ukrainian gas transport system," he said.
The premier said that the relevant law has been passed, and a conference where the issue was raised was held in Brussels.
"We again invite our European partners to the participation in the modernization and exploitation of the Ukrainian gas transport system," Yatseniuk added.
