Investigation into May 2 Odesa events completed – Ukrainian Interior Ministry
The Ukrainian Interior Ministry's Main Investigations Department has completed the investigation into the criminal case opened on the basis of the riots that took place in Odesa on May 2, Zorian Shkiriak, adviser to the interior minister, said.
"The Ukrainian Interior Ministry's Main Investigations Department has completed the investigation into the criminal case opened on the basis of the riots that took place in Odesa on May 2. The criminal case materials against 24 people, including the organizers and active participants in the riots, will be forwarded to court," he told a briefing in Kyiv on Thursday.
Shkiriak added that another nine people are on the wanted persons list and they remain under investigation.
