Two more Ukrainian servicemen killed, three wounded on Tuesday, despite truce, says Selezniov
Members of illegal armed groups ignoring the peace plan to resolve the situation in the east of Ukraine opened fire at two checkpoints of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) forces, killing two Ukrainian soldiers and injuring three others, according to the ATO spokesman Vladyslav Selezniov.
Due to mortar shelling and launches of anti-tank missiles, an infantry fighting vehicle was damaged, two Ukrainian soldiers were fatally injured and three others were wounded, Selezniov wrote on his Facebook page.
Selezniov also said that militants fired from small arms, automatic grenade launchers and mortar launchers at roadblocks around Sloviansk. The Ukrainian military sustained no losses, he added.
