Ashton: Ukraine's territorial integrity, strong ties with Russia important
The European Union is interested in Ukraine's territorial integrity, European Union foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton said.
Strong relations between Ukraine and Russia are important, she said at a press conference in Kyiv on Tuesday.
Ashton also said that in the European Union's opinion, it is important to preserve Ukraine's territorial integrity and unity.
Asked by reporters whether Russian troops could be introduced in Crimea, she said there are no reasons to discuss this issue now.
