Ashton: It is extremely important to immediately implement concrete steps agreed in Geneva
High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton has said it is extremely important to immediately start implementation of the agreements, which were achieved at the foursome meeting of the leaders of the diplomatic offices of the European Union, Russia, the Unites States and Ukraine in Geneva.
"It has to be the first priority that we [participants of the meeting] focus on, to see a de-escalation of the situation, and collectively, we agreed a number of concrete steps that we can see implemented immediately. The word 'immediately' is extremely important in this context," Ashton said on the results of the meeting.
