28 MPs quit Party of Regions faction in Rada
Eleven more MPs have left the Party of Regions' faction in Verkhovna Rada, Ukrainian Parliament Deputy Speaker Ruslan Koshulynsky said.
These include Ihor Sharov, Vasyl Khmelnytsky, Mykola Bahrayev, Mykola Onyschenko, Andriy Derkach, Volodymyr Zubyk, Volodymyr Pekhov, Volodymyr Prodyvus, Yevhen Sihal, Hryhoriy Smitiukh, and Anton Yatsenko.
Earlier on Friday, it was announced that seventeen lawmakers left the faction.
This brings the total number of members who quit the faction to 28.
Earlier the Party of Regions consisted of 205 members. There are 450 seats in the Ukrainian parliament.
