Protesters in Kyiv demand that Ukraine's Security Service probe 'separatist statements' by Crimean parliament
Several hundred protesters were rallying in front of the building of the Ukrainian Security Service in Kyiv's Volodymyrska Street on Friday.
The protesters were demanding that the Ukrainian Security Service probe the "separatist statements made by the Supreme Council of Crimea," abductions of people, and politically motivated persecution of opposition activists, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent has reported.
The activists were holding state flags of Ukraine and flags of the Batkivschyna, UDAR, and Svoboda parties. They also had a vehicle with sound-enhancing equipment.
Volodymyrska Street was not closed to traffic. The people were protesting on the pedestrian part of the street.
