Armenian police clear Yerevan central avenue of protesters
YEREVAN. July 6 (Interfax) - The Armenian police have fully cleared Bagramian Avenue in the center of Yerevan of protesters, an Interfax correspondent reports.
Detained persons were taken to police stations in motor vehicles.
Some of those protesting against the rise in electricity tariffs are standing on the sidewalk, and the police are allowing no one to step into the roadway.
