Prosecutor General's Office oversees probe into beating of journalist Chornovil
The leadership of the Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office (PGO) will personally oversee the investigation into the beating of journalist and activist Tetiana Chornovil, the PGO's press service told Interfax-Ukraine on Wednesday.
Deputy Prosecutor General Roman Andreyev took personal control of the probe into the incident.
"Deputy Prosecutor General Roman Andreyev and First Deputy Interior Minister Viktor Dubovyk left for the scene for another inspection on the instruction of the prosecutor general," the press service said.
