Opposition faction leaders want Tymoshenko's full isolation, says Chornovil
Member of the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, of the sixth convocation Taras Chornovil has said that the colleagues of former Ukrainian Prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko do not support her.
He also said that the ex-premier's colleagues want to see her full isolation.
"[Head of the Batkivschyna parliamentary faction Arseniy] Yatseniuk and his team, as well as [Head of the UDAR parliamentary faction Vitali] Klitschko would prefer that Yulia Tymoshenko never be released. Her release means their political destruction," the former parliamentarian told Interfax-Ukraine.
"They will do their best to build a wall to prevent Yulia Tymoshenko from receiving information… Today they want to prevent Yulia Tymoshenko's release, to stop her becoming a full participant of the [political] process, as well as [achieve] her complete isolation," Chornovil said.
