Municipal services to dismantle barricades, police not dispersing Euromaidan protesters - Kyiv police
Kyiv's police say that a large number of police officers who are now on Kyiv's Independence Square are tasked to ensure law and order while protesters' barricades are being dismantled by municipal services and representatives of the State Service for Emergency Situations.
The police are not involved in the dispersal or crackdown on Euromaidan protesters, the source said.
"Utilities services jointly with the State Service for Emergency Situations will be dismantling barricades set up by protesters," the Kyiv police told Interfax-Ukraine.
This is only the removal of tents and other facilities set up by protesters, there is no crackdown on Euromaidan protesters, the source said.
