Opposition starts blocking Ukrainian government's building
About 500 protesters are preparing to block the Ukrainian government's building.
Three buses of the Berkut special-purpose police unit have arrived to the area along Hrushevskoho Street. Another ten police buses are parked in the government building's backyard, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reports.
Hrushevskoho Street is blocked by buses and a line of soldiers of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry Forces.
The building's central entrance and some of the side entrances are blocked by the protesters.
The police keep Hrushevskoho Street closed for both motor and pedestrian traffic in an area between the walls of the government's building and the Mariyinsky Park.
