Putin planning to visit Kyiv to mark Christianization of Kievan Rus, says spokesman

Russian President Vladimir Putin is planning to attend events to mark the 1,025th anniversary of the Christianization of Kievan Rus in Kyiv.

"Indeed, such a visit is planned," the Russian president's spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, told reporters when asked whether the Russian president was planning to attend the celebrations.
