Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov is satisfied with results of a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev in Sochi on Friday.
"I am satisfied with the results of the meeting. I would call it constructive. One should meet more often and discuss every problem in a friendly environment. We have made progress on every problem today," Azarov told journalists in Sochi in the wake of the Russian-Ukrainian talks.
The parties managed to move forward on energy and innovative cooperation, on interaction in the aviation and space spheres, as well as in gas transit and disputed trade and economic issues, he said.
The talks also heard the discussion of preparations of a visit of the Russian president to Ukraine on the occasion of the 1,025th anniversary of Christianization of Rus.
