Serbia to give South Stream project national status in Jan
Serbia plans to assign national status to the project for the construction of the Serbian section of the South Stream gas pipeline sometime this month, the country's Finance Minister Mladan Dinkic told the press after a meeting with Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov.
"This will happen this month," Dinkic said. "The government has already written up a draft law associated with giving the South Stream project the status of a national project," he said.
