Parliamentary chairman supports Popov's candidacy for Kyiv mayor
Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Rybak has stated that he supports the candidacy of Oleksandr Popov for the position of Kyiv mayor.
"I will support Popov. When I worked at the Cabinet of Ministers I saw many mayors, the heads of administrations, and I saw everyone's style of work. When I came to Poltava region and got acquainted with mayor Popov, I saw that people respected this mayor," Rybak said in a program broadcast by the Inter Channel on December 14.
"Today, I can say that Popov is an honest, respectable, and fair person… he can work," Rybak said.
