New global security order to be shaped on results of Russia-Ukraine war – Sybiha
Russia's war against Ukraine is a global issue, not just a Ukrainian or European one, Foreign Minister of Ukraine Andriy Sybiha has said on the X social network Monday, emphasizing that by launching the war, Putin also harmed the Global South through food, energy, and security crises. By involving the DPRK and Iran, he currently expands the war to the Indo-Pacific and Middle East.
"This war's outcome will shape a new global security order. It will be deeply flawed if Russia is rewarded for its aggression. On the contrary, if this war ends in a just way, with respect for Ukraine's sovereignty, territorial integrity, and security, the world will be safer," the minister said.
Peace and justice in Ukraine are essential for peace and justice around the world, including in the Indo-Pacific, Middle East, Africa, and Latin America, he said.
"We will continue to work with partners around the globe to this end and remove Moscow as a source of global destabilization,"Sybiha said.
