Sybiha appeals to Trump's candidate for Secretary of State
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha, in an address to U.S. Secretary of State candidate Marco Rubio, expects Washington to promote the principle of "peace through force" in Ukraine.
“Congratulations to Marco Rubio on his nomination to become the 72nd U.S. Secretary of State. I look forward to working together, deepening the mutually beneficial Ukraine-US strategic partnership, and advancing peace through strength in Ukraine and around the world,” Sybiha said on X Thursday evening.
The minister also congratulated Senator Rubio on his nomination for the post of the 72nd Secretary of State of the United States.
As reported, Ukraine is closely monitoring the appointments that newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump intends to make and counts on continued unwavering American support, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha said.
