President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has met with German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius on Friday.
"We all know that the situation is not like enjoying time together. We have really serious things to discuss. So, I would suggest to step in immediately, to do whatever we can," the minister said during the meeting.
He congratulated Ukraine on its success in the Kursk operation and expressed condolences over Russia's attack on Poltava.
Zelenskyy thanked Germany and its government for support.
He also announced a meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
"I know you had productive meetings with our defense minister. Thank you for Germany's very strong support, the second largest support since the war broke out," the head of state said.
