Lithuania sends new military assistance package to Ukraine
Lithuania has delivered loaders, anti-drone systems, folding beds, and other military aid to Ukraine, the Lithuanian Defense Ministry said, adding that the aid arrived in Ukraine on August 28.
"In response to Ukraine's requests this year, Lithuania has already supplied 155mm ammunition, M577 armored vehicles, M113 armored vehicles, anti-drone systems, equipment and warm clothing kits necessary for the winter season, ammunition for the Carl Gustaf anti-tank grenade launcher, remote detonation systems RISE-1, generators, disassembled parts of the L-39ZA Albatros light attack aircraft, loaders, trailers, folding beds, and other auxiliary equipment," it said.
Since the beginning of the war, Lithuania has provided Ukraine with more than EUR 647 million worth of military aid. The total amount of Lithuania's long-term aid to Ukraine exceeded EUR 1 billion.
