Data published about 469 offshore companies affiliated with Ukrainians
The International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) has published the updated database with over 200,000 offshore companies registered via Mossack Fonseca.
According to the information from the ICIJ, 643 Ukrainian citizens own 469 offshore companies. Names, last names and registration addresses of the owners of offshore companies, legal and postal addresses of offshore firms are available.
On April 3, 2016, the first part of the investigation into Panama Papers was published. The ICIJ headquartered in Washington published extracts from 11.5 million documents. Mossack Fonseca law firm registered in Panama regularly helped clients in money laundering, evading sanctions and taxes. Later the ICIJ announced that it intended to publish all the documents.
