Ukrkondprom claims Russia blocking transit of Ukrainian confectionary goods

Head of the Ukrkondprom association Oleksandr Baldyniuk said Russia has completely blocked transit of Ukrainian confectionery goods through its territory. However, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine has no official confirmation of this information.

"Transit of confectionery goods has been fully closed. We have been informed that Russians return our wagons going to Central Asia," Baldyniuk told the Yevropeiska Pravda (European Truth) edition.

However, Trade Representative of Ukraine - Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Natalia Mykolska said this information has not been confirmed.

"There is a certain fixed number of such cases, and their number is growing, but there is no confirmation of complete blocking," she said.
