Cabinet restructures Kyiv eurobonds worth $351 mln
The Ukrainian government within restructuring has allowed the transfer of the debt on Kyiv 2015 eurobonds worth $117.394 million and 2011 eurobonds for $233.672 million to the national debt.
According to Cabinet of Ministers decree No. 1040 of December 18, posted on the website of the government, new Ukraine's eurobonds in the equal volume of $175.533 million maturing on September 1, 2019 and September 1, 2020, as well as state derivatives in the amount of $111.394 million will be issued instead of these Kyiv eurobonds.
The document establishes that the Ministry of Finance within five days after the payments for servicing or repaying the new eurobonds will notify Kyiv City Council of the debt to the state, which Kyiv will have to pay off in a ten-day period after receipt of the letter.
