Prices for construction and assembly work in Ukraine 7.8% up in March - statistics
Prices for construction and assembly work (CAW) in Ukraine in March 2015 increased by 7.8% compared to February 2015, while the growth in February 2015 to January 2015 was 4.5%.
According to the State Statistics Service, these figures do not include the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea and Sevastopol, and part of the ATO zone in the east of Ukraine.
According to the State Statistics Service, the growth in prices for construction and assembly work in March 2015 to March 2014 was 32.1%, while the rise in prices for construction and assembly work in February 2015 to February 2014 amounted to 23.8%.
According to the report, in general the rise in CAW prices in January-March 2015 compared to January-March 2014 came to 24.9%.
According to the service, the growth in CAW prices in March 2015 from February 2015 was recorded in all areas of construction. The highest growth of 7.9% was recorded in the construction of engineering structures. The rise in prices in the construction of non-residential buildings was 8.6%, residential buildings - 7.3%.
