One Ukrainian serviceman has been killed and another 28 have been injured as a result of fighting in Ukraine's eastern regions over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council spokesman Andriy Lysenko said at a press briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.

"One of our soldiers has been killed and another 28 Ukrainian servicemen have been injured in the past 24 hours," he said.
