Forty-four athletes in 12 disciplines to represent Ukraine at 2024 Winter Youth Olympics in South Korea – NOC
Forty-four athletes in 12 sports disciplines will represent Ukraine at the IV Winter Youth Olympic Games (UOG) in Gangwon-do (Republic of Korea), the National Olympic Committee (NOC) has reported.
"In the competitions, which will begin very soon in Gangwon Province (Republic of Korea), Ukraine will be represented by 44 young Olympians: 24 boys and 20 girls," the NOC press service said.
It is noted that the athletes of the national team of Ukraine have won the right to compete in 12 of the 15 sports disciplines included in the UOG-2024 program, namely biathlon, alpine skiing, curling, cross-country skiing, speed skiing, ski jumping, luge, skeleton, snowboarding, figure skating, freestyle and the short track.
As reported, on January 4, the Ministry of Youth and Sports approved the participation of the delegation of the national team of Ukraine in the IV Winter Youth Olympics in South Korea, which will be held from January 19 to February 1, 2024.
