Ukraine takes 22nd position in 2024 Olympics medal standings
On the 16th day of the XXXIII Olympic Games in Paris, representatives of the Ukrainian national team competed in one sport, the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Ukraine reports on Facebook.
In the medal standings, with 12 awards (three, five, four), Ukraine takes 22nd position.
The results of the competition day are also published.
Free wrestling: Murave Mchedlidze defeated Nicolaas De Lange from South Africa (5:3) in a repechage bout. After that, there was one step left to the podium, but current vice-champion of the world and Europe Magomedkhan Magomedov from Azerbaijan (0:10) did not allow it to be made.
As reported, Ukraine finished its performance at the 2024 Olympic Games with 12 medals.
The 2024 Olympic Games were held in Paris from July 26 to August 11.
