Ukraine invites EU to develop joint agenda on youth policy – Ministry of Sports
Ukraine has proposed to the European Union to work out a joint agenda on youth policy issues, the Ministry of Youth and Sports reports following a meeting of the European Youth Council in Brussels.
"A joint agenda on youth policy between Ukraine and the European Union is necessary for the implementation of common priorities, the exchange of successful practices and tools in this area. This will allow Ukrainian youth to have greater access to EU programs and instruments that contribute to their development and support in our country," the press service of the Ministry of Sports says.
It is noted that the implementation of the joint agenda could become the basis for the development of a special program to support Ukrainian youth in Ukraine and the EU in the field of youth infrastructure, youth participation in decision-making, social and youth entrepreneurship, psychological support for war victims, integration of youth from temporarily occupied territories, adaptation of young veterans and cooperation within the EU youth programmes.
